Meet the Creator – Kelvine M.
Hi there! I’m Kelvine M., a lifelong nature lover with deep roots in gardening and agricultural living. I grew up on a ranch, where I developed a passion for raising butterflies and moths from larvae and creating a garden that welcomes all kinds of pollinators. Over the years, my interests have evolved to include plant photography, botanical writing, and the identification of living things.
I’m proud to be a member of the North American Butterfly Association (NABA) and have served as a regional coordinator for BAMNONA since 2017. I also hold a degree in Agricultural and Life Science from the University of Florida, and my professional journey includes fieldwork with Fauna and Flora International, where I’ve contributed to investigative studies and conservation reporting.
My adventures have taken me across the United States—from Texas and Florida to Washington and Massachusetts—and even beyond, living in England, Germany, and Turkey. Today, I divide my time between homes in Florida and Alabama, staying close to nature through gardening, birdwatching, hiking, and planting trees.
